Cooking Class Experience: New Jersey Red Sauce – Saturday, 2/18 @ 6:30 pm
In this hands-on cooking class, guests will explore the flavors, techniques, and stories behind a classic New Jersey–style red sauce—the kind that anchors Sunday dinners and brings generations together around the table.
Participants will learn how to build layers of flavor from simple ingredients, focusing on proper sautéing, seasoning, simmering, and balance. Along the way, the class will cover essential techniques for creating a rich, versatile sauce that can be used as the foundation for countless Italian American favorites. The experience is interactive, welcoming, and flavor-forward, making it ideal for home cooks who want to deepen their skills while celebrating a beloved regional tradition.
As part of this Chariteam experience, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the selected nonprofit, allowing guests to enjoy a meaningful evening of cooking, culture, and community while supporting a great cause.
